Description
The Davey 681 Shallow Well Injector Kit (Product Code: 22681) is a specialized component used to configure the Davey Prime Jet 240 pump for higher-pressure shallow well applications. While the "680" kit (Product Code 22680) is the standard shallow well configuration, the 681 kit is designed to provide different flow and pressure characteristics from the same suction depth.
- Function: Converts the Prime Jet 240 into a shallow well jet pump suitable for drawing water from depths up to 7.5 metres.
- Performance: According to Pumps and Pipes, this kit achieves a flooded suction flow rate of 157 litres per minute at a higher discharge pressure of 380 kPa (55 psi).
- Operating Limits: Davey Water installation instructions specify a minimum operating pressure of 300 kPa when using the 681 injector kit.
- Kit Contents: Includes the shallow well suction housing with the specific 681 jet and venturi already fitted
